Complete nonsense!

First read the posting at the link above.. then the reply will make sense

What a load of rubbish... this kind of stuff is designed to keep people in their places... when you are starting to get frustrated at work there are valid reasons... okay, blaming others is a safety valve... and if its blowing then its time to examine the reasons why and begin to search for the solution. Brighter people frequently do have a better solution, but the mediocre world that we live in frustrates and annoys and holds the back... so yes, often the rest of them are a pain, and probably are the problem... so set your mind to figuring out the solution.. a way to neutralize them while improving the job

Putting the company first????? hahahahahahahahaa... i have worked in countless companies, the first rule of the company is that the day you leave you are forgotten... I dont care how hard you worked, how many hours you slaved away... the day you go, you are to blame for everything that was wrong and the new guy is the hero who is going to fix it... respect the company? Yes. Respect its rules? Yes... but bow down to it? No way... if the company wants to eat you and is sucking you dry... and you have no time for your family and friends... then pack up and get out... if you dont do it now, you will realize on your retirement party, as they hand you out some cheap trinkets and everyone gives that fake smile, that you have just wasted a whole heap of time...

Listening... 100% Learning... 100% All the way.. but have your BS detector working at all times.. and when they spin you a line... switch off!

There are a lot of things you are entitle to, and which are seldom present in a work place... the first is respect. Never allow anyone to take away your respect... if they do, resign. I dont care how tough the market is, how difficult it is to get another job, your respect is yours and no one has the right to take it away. You have the right to a lot of things and it is this kind of talk that says you are not entitled that is designed to keep the average employee quiet and in his or her place... dont rock the boat is what they want you to think... NO way.. Rock it... and if you fall out, well hey, you are on your way to something better, coz you werent appreciated where you were!

There is a simple secret to success... maybe not Kool Aid.... but it is there for every person... the secret to success is to believe in yourself. Once you believe in yourself you will start coming up with ideas for generating income and revenue... You should think of yourself as a business.. what are your expenses? that means all of your monthly expenses... ok, so those are your fixed costs... now, how much income do you bring in in a month? that's your base revenue... now how can I grow that? this is where your journey begins... believe me, with some creative thinking you can generate amazing revenues for yourself. There are opportunities everywhere... the last thing you have to do is toe the company line...

Such comments about business are designed to hold you back from becoming the entrepreneur that you are... you are a hunter by nature... deep inside you, you are coded and programmed to succeed for yourself... so you can develop yourself a little at a time and you will grow... your revenue will grow and your company, meaning you, will become a profitable venture..

Consistency

Consistency is the biggest power in training... it is not the speed training or the hills that get you there..

Yes, they all have their role in making you into an amazing athlete, but the number one quality of winners is determination.. and that is what powers them to keep training, every single day, morning and evening, without abating.

When you are in the camp there are no distractions and the regimen is strict...
Early morning start - main training
rest
Meeting and discussion about where you are at
Physio
Evening run
sleep

that's the lifestyle that creates international champions... no distractions, no parties, no going out late and having "fun". No the life of a champion is a solitary one, un-distracted, completely focused... it's the only way to get to the finish line FIRST!

Beautiful weather brings out the athletes to train

Early morning and a cool 17 degrees brings out literally hundreds of athletes to run along Solulta Road... a place where the world's greatest long distance athletes train...

There's nothing like it, running between the eucalyptus trees, the floor of the forest perfectly swept clean by the people who make a living from gathering the fallen leaves and branches... and the sound of runners... turning a corner you spy another group, and here hidden in the bushes is a coach watching his athletes without their knowledge.

And then out of the forest and across open fields, tens of km of open grass at 3000m above sea level call you to come and run...

and after the run, you sit on the grass and listen to your favorite coach as he explains the strengths and weaknesses of your style and gives out the training cards for the evening run and for tomorrow morning
